Admission is still being set. Tickets go on sale closer to the date — this page gets them first.
Not handicap accessible. The Masonic Temple is a historic building and the haunt is not accessible to wheelchairs or to visitors who cannot manage stairs. We would rather tell you now than at the door.
Intended for older teens and adults. Expect the dark, loud noises, and live actors whose entire job is to scare you. Parents know their own kids — but this is not built for little ones.
It is a fundraiser. Every ticket supports Youth of Lewis County, the same volunteers who run the Lewis County Ren Faire and the North Country Talent Show.

North Country Scare
Halloween in the North Country
North Country Scare is the Halloween arm of Youth of Lewis County — haunts and seasonal events built by the same volunteers behind the Lewis County Ren Faire and the North Country Talent Show.
The Haunted House is the first one on the calendar. It will not be the last — more events get added as each season takes shape, and they show up here first.

How much are tickets?
Not set yet. Pricing and the ticket link are announced closer to the date — this page and YOLC's channels get it first.
How scary is it, really?
Scary enough that we are telling you it is for older teens and adults. Dark rooms, loud noises, and live actors. Nobody will touch you, but they will absolutely get close.
Is the building accessible?
No. The Masonic Temple is a historic building and the route through the haunt is not wheelchair accessible and not manageable for anyone who cannot do stairs. We are sorry — we would rather be straight with you now.
Can I bring my kids?
You know your kids best, but this is not a children's walk-through. If you are looking for something for little ones, keep an eye on this page — the rest of the season is still being built.
Where does the money go?
Youth of Lewis County. It is a fundraiser run by the same volunteers behind the Lewis County Ren Faire and the North Country Talent Show.
Can I volunteer or act in it?
Yes — a haunt runs on volunteers, from actors to build crew to door staff. Casting calls and build days go out through Youth of Lewis County.
